WHAT IS HIGH KEY?

High Key Records is a Birmingham-based underground music events collective and record label. Our ethos is community centred, with core aims to support emerging DJs and producers and promote inclusion and diversity within underground music.

We have loads of exciting things going on at the moment, including –

High Key Social, a monthly event which aims to provide opportunities to DJs of all identities and abilities in a supportive and friendly environment.

Dance Music Scene Diversity Study, a look into diverity in the underground music scene.

Guest Mix Series, a DJ mix series which showcases local Birmingham talent.

Community WhatsApp, a WhatsApp Community that is open to anyone who wants to join. Our aim for this Community is to provide a safer space for artists to share their work, make friends, find opportunities, and stay up to date with High Key.

Live From HK HQ, a DJ video mix series which showcases local Birmingham talent.

High Key Events, a rave where we support local talent and create a positive and inclusive environment.
